(January 26, 2011) As part of TxDOT’s widening project, FM 423 will be reduced to one lane between Eldorado Parkway and FM 720 in Little Elm Wednesday night, January 26. The lane closure will begin at 8 p.m. Wednesday night and continue through the night, reopening by 6 a.m. Thursday morning. Flaggers will stop traffic on either end of the closure and then allow traffic to take turns flowing in alternating directions through the single, open lane.
Motorists should expect delays on FM 423 between Eldorado Parkway and FM 720 during the lane closure. Through traffic can use an alternate route such as using Eldorado Parkway and FM 720 to go around the closure. Motorists are urged to use caution in the area and to watch for flaggers.
