(January 25, 2011) The Texas Department of Transportation has lowered the speed limit on FM 423 approximately between Lebanon Road and Eldorado Parkway while the roadway is being widened. Motorists on FM 423 should watch for the new speed limit signs which will define the exact locations of the speed limit change. The speed limit is being reduced to 45 MPH and takes effect on Monday as the signs are changed.
Motorists are urged to use caution in the construction zone.
