Town Hall Meetings are a great way to get in-depth information about your community and to learn more about City of Frisco capital projects, programs, services, special events and key issues affecting residents. Our most recent meeting was held October 17, 2011, and the topics included Stage 3 water restrictions, Exide Technologies battery recycling plant, economic development, road construction improvements and the NCAA Division I Championship Game, happening January 7, 2012 at Pizza Hut Park.

Mayor Maher Maso and the Frisco City Council are your hosts for these meetings, which last two hours, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Town Hall Meetings are held in our Council Chambers in the George A. Purefoy Municipal Center, which is located in the heart of Frisco Square, 6101 Frisco Square Blvd.
In 2011, a 'telephone' format was added to the meetings. Frisco’s registered voters receive a phone call during the meeting inviting them to 'listen in' and offer the option of asking a question. A phone number is also publicized, so anyone can call in from any phone to join the meeting. Read more about October 17 meeting.
Aside from learning 'what's happening' in your city, Town Hall Meetings are great for networking with your neighbors! We are making the meetings more fun, too, by using a theme to promote pride and community spirit. Some of the free, souvenir spirit gear distributed during past Town Hall Meetings include a Frisco logo grocery tote, 'Way to Grow' wildflower seeds and garden trowel in anticipation of Frisco hitting the 100,000 mark, and a tape measure for a 'How Does Frisco Measure Up' theme. Other favorite giveaways are an 'I Love Frisco' and Frisco red logo t-shirts.
