National Night Out and Safety Palooza 2012

Fun at Safety PaloozaCongratulations Frisco for placing 15th nationwide in the National Night Out 2011!  As you'll remember, we celebrated National Night Out on August 2nd in 2011.  As in years past, we will utilize to the nationally recognized date, as opposed to the alternate Texas date.  The date for this year's festivities will be August 7th!

Once again this year, the citizens of Frisco came out in force to support National Night Out.  Frisco police, fire, and elected officials made their rounds to more than 100 block parties, which illustrated the continued success of this great program.

The Frisco Police Department will also host its 3rd annual Safety Palooza on Saturday, July 28, as the official kickoff party for National Night Out.  This event will be held at the Frisco Police Department.

Frisco police and fire personnel will be on-hand to show off all of the public safety "tools of the trade," in addition, CareFlite will be on site with one of their helicopters for public display.

In addition to all of the public service equipment and personnel during Safety Palooza, Frisco's own Snow Cone Lady was on-hand with plenty of her chilled treats to help keep things cool.
